Warranty Information
All watches are covered by The Watch Pantry 2-Year Warranty.
Your watch is warranted by The Watch Pantry for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery.
During the warranty period, the watch movement, hands, and dial are the only components covered under this warranty. A covered component will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charge if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use.
In case of replacement, The Watch Pantry cannot guarantee that you will receive the same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value or similar style will be provided. The warranty for the replacement watch ends on the same date as your original warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
- Crystal, bezel, strap/bracelet, crowns, batteries or diamante trims.
- Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear.
- Watches that are rated 5ATM or below are not considered waterproof, they are only splash-proof. We do not recommend you wear your watch whilst showering or swimming as the pressure exerted on the watch under these conditions can exceed 5ATM. We cannot, and will not cover the watch for water damage if you decide to exert your watch to such conditions. The Watch Pantry advises that if you wish to swim with your watch on, you should only do so if your watch is rated 10ATM or above.
The Watch Pantry will not be held responsible for damage caused to straps, links, cases or seals which have been caused by a third party. Ceramic watches, due to their brittle nature, are very delicate and must be treated with care whilst extracting links. The Watch Pantry will not be held liable and will not cover the cost of links or a new strap if breakage occurs whilst extracting links, instead, the cost will be incurred by the customer or whoever is working on the watch. If The Watch Pantry damages the watch, then the cost of a repair will lie with ourselves.
For Service work that is not covered under this warranty, the service centre may perform the services you request for a charge. The charge is dependant on the watch style in question and type of work requested. These charges are subject to change. Such charges will be notified and agreed by you prior to performing the services. Watches sent for repair that are not covered under warranty will incur postage and packaging charges both to and from The Watch Pantry.
All Work carried out under warranty shall be completed within 2-8 Weeks. We will keep the customer informed throughout the process. Once the item is received back, there is an assessment carried out on the item which will be completed within 7 days. All warranty work is completed by our Authorised Repair Centre. All work carried out and completed is checked, tested and guaranteed.
If your watch fails to work within 7 working days of receiving it, a new watch will be issued upon the return of the former watch. Anything faltering above 7 days, the watch will be fixed under warranty.
